Overall, D&W Fresh Market is good in a crunch, especially for neighborhood locals who want a convenient place to grab a few things without traveling far. The staff is always very nice, helpful, and pleasant, which is definitely a plus. We have had a few issues with freshness, particularly with pre-packaged produce, salad toppings, and some poultry. A few times, we didn’t realize an item was bad until we got it home and had to return it for a refund. The deli used to be a standout! Their fried chicken from the hot section was AWESOME — flavorful, well-seasoned, crispy, and crispy skin. I’m not sure if they changed brands or preparation, but recently it has been very bland with little to no seasoning. Definitely hoping they bring the old chicken back! Overall, it’s a convenient neighborhood option, with a friendly staff. I’d just love to see a little more consistency with freshness and some of the deli items.

It's very clean and well lit, the employees are always working hard but I have a few gripes. 1. Doing bottle deposit is frustrating as they have an older unit in the back or something so every can needs to be rinsed out or they won't take it. I understand it's probably because sugar gunks things up quickly. 2. The shelves are stocked but sometimes there's weird omissions to brand flavors. 3. They seemingly only have one sign about being towed at only 1 entrance/exit and it just states that anyone can be towed Otherwise to add some more compliments, the sushi here is really good, they prepare the sushi in store every day, and lastly the pharmacy employees are super nice.

This is a hit or miss if you go there to get fish. One time I went. The gentleman was super nice. Went and looked in the back for me. Found the fish and brought it out. today I went and the fish guy that was there didn't want anything to do with looking for any other type of fish that was listed on their board and when I asked when he told me they were out of bluegill and I asked for lake perch he said they sold out of that yesterday. so I asked what on the board he had available. He said he'd had nothing that was on the board and only what was in the chest in front of me. Bit disappointing. Such a difference in service their deli counter. However, the gentleman there was super helpful. Very friendly and extra nice. I guess it shows how one person can make such a difference. Very disappointed in the fish counter today At 4 pm.

Stop here often on my way to or from work to grab last minute items. Their deli is pretty decent. They are open late making them a great option to get that last min item. More expensive then bigger box stores but convenient and nice staff and clean store. For some reason their little sushi counter is the best grab and go, run of the mill sushi around. There's always someone making it there and never got anything that tasted off or stale.

Three stars because the cashier checking us out last night (Barb) talked way too much (checked out around 9pm). I understand she was providing what she believes to be her best customer service. But, it is just a grocery store checkout line. No need to over explain why she wanted us to hand her the bottles of 7-Up so she could scan them as opposed to waiting for them to arrive via the checkout isle conveyor belt. She also took way too long explaining the Value card system to the people ahead of us. The looks on their faces were priceless. As customers, we just want to pay, get out groceries, and leave the store. Her service approach needs some coaching.
